Yoga and walking weekend, Hartington, 13-15 Sept 2013
Early-bird discount if booked by 9 June. Combine gentle yoga and walks in the stunning scenery of the Peak District for a weekend to revive body, mind and soul
Hartington in the Derbyshire valley of the River Dove is a beautiful village surrounded by the breathtaking countryside. Indulge in an early summer break with fresh air, hearty food and relaxing yoga with Chris.
We will stay at the historic Hartington Hall, parts of which date from 1611 and which is now a four-star youth hostel. With oak-panelled rooms, open fires, a great restaurant and bar – and single and en-suite rooms available – it’s very relaxing base for a weekend break.
There will be yoga four yoga sessions on Friday evening, Saturday morning, Saturday evening , and Sunday morning – and plenty of time in between for walks in nearby dales: Beresford, Wolfcote, and Dovedale. Chris will guide one walk – or feel free to explore on your own.
Included in the price is two nights’ accommodation, all yoga, two three-course dinners and two full breakfasts. Any other meals can be made in the self-catering kitchen, bought at the youth hostel (including a packed lunch to take walking), or in one of the pretty Hartington village pubs.
